FASHINNOVATION Panel Recap

In Fashion Events, Fashion Marketing, Sustainable Fashion by Tara Tsui

We had so much fun attending a fabulous panel discussion hosted by FASHINNOVATION. The topic was Sustainability & the Arts, hosted at the gorgeous SAP Hudson Yards space! There was a lively discussion about how art, through communication and expression, plays a significant role in sustainable fashion. An interesting takeaway was that art is often dismissed as expensive and only for privileged people. One of the panelists, Jason Naylor ( an award winning artist who has been working in New York for many years), spoke about the influence of street art. Street art used to have a stigma, but now is accessible to people from all different backgrounds and prominently featured in designer collections all over the world! Please see information below for the list of panelists.
