Fashion Mingle NYFW Networking Party Featuring Fashion Designer Cesar Galindo

Fashion Mingle, a global network for fashion professionals, hosted it’s fourth Fashion Mingle Networking Party during New York Fashion Week.

Fashion Mingle’s NYFW Networking Party is designed to provide networking opportunities for fashion industry professionals who come to New York City to either attend runway shows or work behind-the-scenes at NYFW.

The event was held on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 at ROW NYC, one of New York’s most stylish lifestyle hotels, at 700 8th Ave in the Times Square. An exclusive VIP experience was provided for VIP ticket holders from 7pm-8pm who enjoyed red carpet photos with Getty photographer Sean Zanni, hors d’oeuvres provided by District M, open bar, and speed networking with Featured VIPs. 

Welcoming VIPs to the event was celebrity designer Cesar Galindo who has spent 20+ years as a successful fashion designer of The Cesar Galindo Collection while creating performance and red carpet looks for celebrities such as Courteney Cox, Wendy Williams, Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliott and more.

The networking event hosted by Fashion Mingle created opportunities for makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion photographers, models, fashion designers, PR professionals, editors and bloggers from across the globe to connect with featured industry professionals during VIP Speed Networking. “We launched this networking event 2 years ago to create real opportunities for fashion professionals to make connections that will help grow their business or career” says Melissa Shea, Founder and CEO of Fashion Mingle. Celia Evans, Founder of Planet Fashion TV

Celia is a fashion show producer, showcasing emerging talent in the fashion capitals of the world. Based in Miami, Planet Fashion TV hosts an annual Miami Swim Week fashion show that is one of the best events of swim week.

Jordana Guimarães, Founder of Fashinnovation

Jordana Guimaraes is the cofounder of Fashinnovation, a conference showcasing innovations in technology that are shaping the fashion industry. Her latest conference on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 will feature more than 70 companies, startups pitches, and a live show. She is the author of “It Can Be You”, a book that aims to humanize homelessness.

Mich(ael) Weston, Founder of Supernormal

Michael “Mich” Weston is a brand strategist, speaker, and entrepreneur. Mich is the founder of branding & identity service, Supernormal, in which he aids brands in the fashion, coaching, and entertainment, while fulfilling his mission of “equipping a team of normal people for a supernormal mission.”

Whitney Woodard, NYFW Stylist

Wardrobe stylist Whitney Woodard is a seasoned NYFW runway stylist working with Aveda, Chiara Boni, Elie Tahari, and more. Based in Philadelphia, Whitney provides wardrobe styling, shopping, and consulting and is an ambassador for FGI Philadelphia. 

Anina.Net, Founder of 360Fashion Network

Anina.Net is a former international model turned fashion tech innovator. As the founder of 360Fashion Network, Anina has worked with companies such as Intel to bring disruptive fashion technology to the world. Her SMART FASHION MAKER KITS allow any designer to bring technology into their collection. Anina’s robotic dresses will be featured in two fashion shows and she will be hosting a two-day conference and exhibition during NYFW.

The NYFW Networking Party is held every Sunday night of New York Fashion Week and attracts more than 300 fashion industry professionals and tickets to the event can be purchased at Eventbrite .
