Fashion Mingle, a global network for fashion professionals, hosted its NYFW Designers Covergirl Pop-Up in a partnership with DCG Public Relations during New York Fashion Week.
Meet Our Featured NYFW Designers:
Justin Haynes: His creative use of patchwork, patterns, and colors has brought him international recognition. The JUS10H collection creates modern, tailored garments with signature, vintage designs. Justin was the featured designer on Monday, February 10th.
Mary Sukiasyan: She founded Shabeeg, a collection inspired by Armenian nature, history, and traditional Armenian garments. Each garment is designed to bring Armenian culture to the world. Mary was the featured designer on Wednesday, February 12th.
Urbana Chappa: She is the designer of Maison de Urbana. As a multi-cultural woman of Persian, Mexican and Spanish parentage, Urbana brings the richness of her cultural heritage into all of her designs. Urbana was the featured designer on NYFW Finale Night (Thursday, February 13th).
This event was held for 3 nights during NYFW in February 2020, at the Covergirl store, in Times Square! This event allowed people to meet the featured designers and while also enjoying free makeovers, beverages and hor‘devours. They had the opportunity to buy discounted Covergirl products and shop our designer’s apparel and accessory collections. Music was provided by DJ Fly Girl while guests got the chance to take red carpet, Instagram-worthy photos with NYFW models!
The New York Makeup Academy provided makeup artists for February 12th and February 13th. February 13th was also our NYFW Finale night! Featured makeup artist, Krystle Couso did the makeup on all of Urbana’s models, while Sarah Pierre did all the hair. Jes Ruzic was the stylist.
The Naomi Group provided the models. While UpTime Energy, Black Baron Wines, Tessie’s Teas and MargaTricia by Patricia provided the beverages for the event. Picadely NYC provided the appetizers and Christina Liedtke of No Sofa Club sold her scarves and pocket squares.
